load

Executes a query against the pg_catalog to fetch all relevant type information (base types, arrays, composites, enums, domains, ranges, etc.) and updates the given CatalogHolder's catalog with the constructed PgType instances.

Temporary schemas are left out whole. The catalog is one per database, and a pg_temp_N belongs to one session: read in, its types would be every session's to resolve and decode, and would stay behind as OIDs of nothing once that session ended and the next one took the slot. What the load happened to find would also decide whether a temporary type worked at all.
